RAQ File Convertor

Cobalt/Sun Backups files for the RaQ3/4 are stored in a proprietary format that is not compatible with other systems. This is normally fine when you plan to restore a .raq backup to another RaQ3/4. However if you wanted to restore the contents of the Backup to another machine (Linux/Windows) then you will have trouble unless you convert these .raq files to something more universal and standard.

I have re-written a script originally written by Cobalt 'strip-headers.pl' to be more easily used, and this one works properly too.

I will make this script available as soon as I can actually find it again :) 1200meg of perl code is a lot to search through...especially when you dont know what you called it, and when your filing system suxors :)
